Hey Employers, I'm now available full-time! That's right everyone, I'm officially a college graduate. Which also means my site needs some serious updating. So, that's what I'm working on at the moment. It's really exciting to be done with school at last. And although I've been extremely apprehensive about getting out into "the real world," I feel like I faced my graduation finally feeling fully ready for it. Go me!

Today I finally figured out how to get my links to show up as the colors I'd like for them to be. So, that was exciting. I'm getting closer and closer to having my site go live; I bought my URL about two months ago, but I've been so busy with school that I haven't had much of a chance to work on my site at all. No matter, though. Now that I have my links updated, and displaying the correct colors, all I have left to do is write something in the "about me" section. I'm not really sure what to write at the moment, though, so I'll take some time to figure it out first. But it will all be live soon (hopefully)!

I'm trying to get all the finishing touches done on my site. I have just a few more changes here and there to make. It's definitely been a learning experience for me, but I'm very happy with it and I'll be excited when it goes live! Meanwhile, I start school again tomorrow. Fall quarter, here I come! First on my agenda is dropping my internship, so I can go find one on my own and use my last elective on Graphic Signs and Symbols. I think that would be a very
beneficial class for me to take, since logos are currently a weak point for me.
Break was very enjoyable. Paul and I traveled a ton, even taking some time out for just relaxing and being alone together. If you ever get the chance to go to Newport, Oregon, I hope you enjoy it as much as we did! The rest of the break was spent among family and friends, and on the roads in-between them all. It might be nice to get back to school and a schedule, now that it's all over. We'll see...

Starting construction on my website... wish me luck! I have a pretty good idea of how I want everything to function and look... the hard part will be getting there. But I have a couple friends who are willing to offer help should I come across any roadblocks, so I'm feeling confident. |
